N.S. College of Horticultural Sciences Farm is of 110 acres which includes wetland, wood land in which we can notice flooded area, scarce water zone, enclosure with garden of fruit trees, arboretum and forest trees from closed canopy that provide extensive and nearly continuous shade which provides scientific knowledge for the student community. INM, IPM, Organic farming, zero budget natural farming are the recent advances in the field of agriculture where we are implementing all these methods for production of crops which provides immense knowledge to the students and it will in turn useful for the farmers in using recent technologies from increasing production and productivity in State of Andhra Pradesh.

He is a well educated, worked in software industry for 15
years. He has travelled many countries like U.S.A., U.K. as part of the work. He has
returned to India few years back in interest of developing agricultural activities at his
native place. He has started growing agricultural form using organic methods.
Dr. R.V.S.K REDDY, Ph.D
He has 36 years of
experience in Teaching, Research and Extension, worked in various capacities viz.,
Director of Extension, Director of Research, University Librarian, Coordinator, P&M Cell
of Dr. YSRHU. He has Published 127 Research articles and 120 popular articles in reputed
Journals and magazines. Associated with release of 8 coconut varieties/hybrids and 2
vegetable varieties. Life member of many scientific societies and Fellow of CHAI & AZRA.
Received Gold Medal from ANGRAU for securing highest OGPA in Ph.D, Best Scientist
(Extension) Award from Govt. of A.P., Best Seed Scientist from SMA of A.P, Distinguished
Scientist award-2020 by Hi-Tech Horticultural Society, Eminent Scientist Award from SVWS,
Lucknow and Rythunestham Puraskaram from Rythunestham Foundation, Hyderabad. Guided 7
Ph.D and 8 M.Sc (Hort) students as Chairman of the Advisory Committee. He has joined as
Associate Dean of N.S.Agricultural College on 17.06.2022.
